Our Solutions

We use digital pen and paper based technology to electronically capture information from the field. The pen works just like a normal pen and writes using ink onto paper based forms.

The pen also records everything that is written electronically and can transmit that information using a mobile phone back to a central system.

The central system is used to analyse the information from the field and provide reporting services to the organisation.

Usage scenarios

We have recently deployed solutions that support site health, safety and technical compliance within the utilities industries. Examples include the deployment of solutions into National Grid and North West Gas Alliance.

Our pen and paper systems have been provided to site supervisors and independent compliance officers across the UK. They enable the user to record their safety conversations and any findings on the paper form. The technology supports the conversational style of the process, and provides a simple, ergonomic and effective means of electronically capturing information.

The paper inspection sheets can be retained by the teams working in the field and these form the basis of their safety performance feedback.

The information captured is sent by mobile phone and is used to generate live management reports on safety performance across the organisation. The reports can be accessed using a standard Web browser, and can also be sent electronically using email.
